ASUU: EX-PRESIDENT, PROF. FESTUS IYAYI DIED IN A MOTOR ACCIDENT

Former president of Association of Staff Union of Universies, Prof. Fustus Iyayi, died in a motor accident yesterday on the way to the meeting with norther chapter of ASUU. The accident occurred in a bid to avoid collision with the police vehicle that conveyed the governor of Kogi State-Iyayi car somersaulted countless time before the crash.

  The accident which occurred in Lokoja-Abuja Expressway, Iyayi, award wining Nigerian writer, a lecturer who was unlucky in the accident visited his grand fathers at 66 while others in the vehicle were in critical condition.
 The incident has led to the postponement of the ASUU meeting which was scheduled to hold today Wednesday.
  All, including the president of the country condoled with the family of the decease.

English the language of the colonial masters in Nigeria. Colonial masters bequeathed English to Nigeria as part of the ways of making Nigerians adopt their culture.
