MELODIOUS PAIN. - BY ADURAGBEMI BANABARS

Transverse of numerous blood and waters
Leveller of altitude, undertaker of rising thoughts
Absorbers of tears, confluence of heightened laughter
Call of the morning, insuperable response of evening
Ministers of broken thorns, tears on the horizon
Catastrophe and jamboree, crest of the pinnacle
Canopy of comfort, our shade of torment.

Rhyming modes of beautiful lamentation tunes
Drawing the sojourners of wilderness to the ball
Dancing, wining, shining, on the table of pain
Our mother is pregnant, what a pleasurable agony!
Our resources are available, what a butt heads of war!
Green leaf befriends soap, what a unification of forlorn hope!

Pain! Our inseparable friend
That has spread our comfort in alcove
Joy! Our ghost of dashing shadows
That legion which to embrace in a shroud of smoke
Desperation is soiled with stumbling blocks
Crestfallenness of the blind in an unknown route.

Sing to me in parable and let me dance in mystery
The throat is thirsty, the only helper is juvenile fruit
The eyes is blind, the only comforter is the jailer
The mind is grieved, solace is from the slave master
Even when the limbs wince, the formidable well wisher is mockery
The tongue is imprisoned, no hope for the dumb.

Beautiful gyrations of brilliant nudity
Sonorous tone from the xylophone of beautiful betrayal
Skyscrapping sermon from the kings of few seasons
Kenspeckle architectural design on the foundation of nothingness
Dumbfounding swift broom metamorphose to cat-o'-nine-tails.

Pain is real
Suffering is optional.
