THEIR GAME OUR PAIN - Akande Iqmat

The cloth of ignorance we wore
When our able-bodied men was onshore
In the stream of happiness we were
When given goods from there
Unknown to us is their game
Even when used to obtain their aim
Our forefathers bore the pains
But now we regret in pains
The battle has long been fought
But the impact is still being felt.
