LOST IN THE BLOCK - Akande Iqmat

I CAN'T SEEM TO BUILD A Castle, LIKE I DO
I CAN'T SEEM TO MOULD A Brick, IT'S HARD TO DO
I CAN'T SEEM TO MIX MY THOUGHTS, IT'S GLUED
NEITHER CAN I SPEAK TO MY PEN, I'M MUTED
I CAN'T SEEM TO SING MY LYRICS, IT'S ODD
I CAN'T SEEM TO PLAY MY TUNES, I LOST THE KEYS
THE MORE I TRY TO PLAY THE CARDS
THE FASTER THE TABLE TURNS
I HEARD IT'S CALLED WRITER'S BLOCK
A BLOCK NOT NEEDED IN MY COURT
MY WORDS SEEM TO BE GONE
BUT MY PEN REFUSE TO BE GUNNED
BYE, I SAY TO YOU WRITER'S BLOCK
LEAVE MY COURT, I NEED NOT A CHECK
