Boko Haram-should they be given amnesty

Over some years ago the situation of the country security is not in a welcomed condition. This came up as a result of the Boko Haram insurgence who called themselves Muslims.
According to their philosophy, they believe that western education is the major cause of corruption (prostitution and the like). In this case, they have been going up and down towards going against western education in Nigeria.
As part of efforts to achieve their objective, they have engaged in different kind of crimes like bombing of churches, mosques, police headquarters and other public places in order to scare the government and achieve their goal.
People of the country think their bat will hang on the tree after twilight but reverse is the case. As a result, many lives and properties have been lost and the incidence is appalling every day.
Many efforts by the citizens and government have taken place to ensure adequate security in the country. But it seems there is no proper retreat to end this kind of insurgence in the state. For instance, financial handicap of the IGP, fewer police to bury the carnage, as well as inadequate training to man the beats.
Nevertheless, Boko Haram conflict in the country is not a drop from heaven, there must be certain people finance and benefit from the group either for economic purpose or religious interest.
But federal government is taking steps to end this menace in the state. One of it is amnesty. The question is should they be given amnesty maybe the security challenges in the country would go to an end?
Nigerians, we all need to sleep with one eye close in order to help government  ends security challenges in our nation.
But if the entire government's plan to give them amnesty does not work, which way can we go to transform the country?
