a rich poor poet - By Abdulwaheed Olaniyi

the pen can shine and glow on the paper than the sun,
the lines may live longer than earth on the paper,
the readers die and live to read till eternity,
the hope of each poet then stir above the sky,
transforming the state of the state to the greater heights,
the poet enriches the minds, yet he is mean,
his words the eagle's eyes that mirror the land, from the far sky of sanity,
traveling in his mind,
and every day, he cooks edible words
to feed his audience,
he dines with his pen in hunger!
yet he is hungry,
yet there is still fun in the sun,
yet no need to shun,
the fun of literature.
